About Us

Both Sue & I are New Zealanders [Kiwis], We began collecting about 16 years ago while living in Northampton, England. Our next move was to Brisbane, Australia where we lived for 5 years.
In 1990, Sue & I moved home to New Zealand so we could carry on the family business.

We specialize in 20th Century ceramics, with a lesser emphasis on glass, sterling silver, silver plate and collectibles.

Our aim is to supply excellent quality at competitive prices, we want you to be assured of the authenticity and the condition of everything on our site. To this end we always fully describe and image all of our items, and this is further backed up by our money-back guarantee.

Our philosophy is to treat you like we ourselves would like to be treated.

Aside from our shared interest (passion) for antiques, and our two children, Alex & Paige, Robert sails a 420 dinghy on the Harbour, mountain bikes, plays golf, tennis, badminton, snow & water ski's, and more (if he can get away with it).

Whereas Sue is happy spending her free time relaxing with a bit of gardening, picnics or sipping a nice wine, and shopping... but of course.

Dunedin

We live in Dunedin, [Gaelic for Edinburgh], a small but picturesque city of 100,000 people, which is located 2/3rds down the eastern side of the South Island of New Zealand.

During the mid to late 1800's Dunedin was the main conduit for all the gold mined from the Central Otago goldfields, these goldfields rivaled the South African and Australian strikes in ounces recovered.

All this wealth flowing through the city brought prosperity and fortunes to many, and consequently a large number of fine homes were built and furnished accordingly.

The mining of the late 20th century has taken a different form as many of the fine homes have come up for dispersal.
